Meet Andy
This work has changed my life. I hope to share this miracle with you.
A.T. is a technique for addressing our physical habits and conditioning. By beginning to challenge our unconscious way of doing things, we can uncover a freer, more natural way of being. The effect can be miraculous.
A.T. lessons have been shown to be the most cost-effective way to treat back pain, and can help a range of other conditions including tendonitis and rheumatism. It is also widely applied to help performers at top music schools, actors, public speakers and even sports persons.
I aim to teach in a way that is fun, positive, spiritual, patient and compassionate.
Why Alexander Technique?
1. Pain, Injuries and other ailments
A.T. is a highly-effective way to treat pain arising in the back, neck, arms, wrists, hands, hips & knees - particularly where the pain has arisen over a period of time, or as a result of repetitive strain.
A.T. promotes recovery from injuries and can help prevent future injuries by promoting better use of the body.
A.T. has also produced impressive results with managing diseases including Parkinson’s and Epilepsy.
2. Performance
Better use of your body improves fluidity and coordination and creates a sense openness and ease, improving performance and reducing the risk of injury.
A.T. is now offered to students in most leading music schools. It is also applied in public speaking, acting, dance and sport.
3. Alexander Technique in the workplace
Introducing A.T. to workers and their managers can yield substantial improvements in productivity, wellbeing and reduced absenteeism.
Examples show that a programme of A.T. in the workplace could pay for itself 3-4 times over purely by increased man hours through reduced absenteeism. Additional benefits will include boosted productivity, employee happiness and retention.

What is Alexander Technique?
The Alexander Technique is a process for better use of your body. It is mentally challenging but not physically strenuous. The process involves challenging and changing our habits.
Better use of your body improves fluidity and coordination, and creates a sense openness and ease. Lessons can improve performance, reduce stress and have a profound impact on chronic pains and injuries.
Lessons involve the teacher using hands and verbal guidance to direct the pupil into a better condition while standing, sitting, lying or performing simple movements.
